Client Loves Story Widget

Glad I picked up StoryWidget – My client loves the way it adds an interactive element to her site.

The native editor needs some work, but we just upload our own vertical video from Crello or Offeo.

Hopefully, they keep developing the platform add compatibility for Google Web Stories in Discover.

I have some questions.

1. can we add Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, GTM and custom code scripts?

2. Can we add forms to the widgets?

3. What happens when we run out of loads per month?

4. Can you consider increasing the loads limit per code as it is very low (ex: with one code you can only do one website - see my observation below) and unlimited websites make little sense in this case.

Looking forward to your answers and hoping you can update the deal so I can get a few codes.

Hello!! I have one more question please. Based on cookies or something, can I set it up in a way such that new visitors get certain content, repeat visitors get other stories and/or no stories?

Eg, for mobile visitors, this is what I hope to do:

New visitors: stories play automatically when the page loads

Repeat visitors from 2nd - Xth time, another set of content shows when the visitor visits the site

Repeat visitors who’s visiting for (X+1)th time, stories don’t play automatically but there’s an icon for them to click to see the stories

You get what I mean? :)

@Sky: there is no branding. If you mean a whitelabel solution, it is already in the roadmap.

What does it mean by “can stack LTD codes in future”? Please elaborate in more specific details

Question about the full stack of 5 codes. The deal states 1MM loads per month. Is that spread across all accounts? So if I create 1000 sub-account each one would get 1000 widget loads per month?

Also, from a white-labeling perspective, that limit is kinda low. Any chance of bumping it up?

Importing from IG is not ready - we are looking for a stable solution for this.

Regarding the Google plugin, I think you are referring to web stories (AMP stories), it is generating static website files (html) and used as url/page. You are creating a content in story format and it becomes reachable as a page. Our Story Widget is on the contrary embeddable into your current content / pages.

Are the stories indexed by Google? Can we upload our own vertical videos? Your editor doesn't look overly robust.

Our product is not limited to WP, you can use our widgets in any website.

Also i am not sure how Google indexing works for addons like ours, but we will make a research about it.

You can use videos vertical & horizontal.

We have a simple editor, you can customize pretty much anyhing. If you look for fancy themes & layouts, you can use Canva to build stories (with animations) and you can upload them into our editor.

We also have plans for ready-made layouts.

Please, register and select the free package (no credit card required) and try the editor.

1. What constitute a "widget load"? Actual interaction with the widget or a simple page load?

2. Will your widget work with Oxygen builder on WordPress?

3. Can we pick and choose the pages (or posts) where the widget loads? If so, will the script/css load on every page even if the widget is disabled?

4. Do you have a public roadmap?

5. Any example sites using your widget already?

1) When the script load the widget we count it as a "widget load."

2) It worked on many themes - if you have any problems we can solve it quickly.

3) You need to paste our JS tag to the page & post that you want to show stories.
